Three youths kill uncle for land

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 28: Three youths shot dead their uncle over a land dispute while as many others suffered injuries on Saturday in Imamia Colony on GT Road in Ferozewala police limits, some 25km away from here.

Reports said Irfan and Rizwan etc had a land dispute with Abid Husain Shah. On Friday, they exchanged hot words with their uncle and opened fire, killing him on the spot and injuring shopkeepers Muhammad Tabir, Shahid Husain and Ihsan

The injured were removed to Mayo hospital.

Ferozewala police have registered a case and arrested accused’s brother Naheed. Further investigation is under way.

ACCIDENT: An unidentified person was run over and killed by a speeding car on Saturday near Khurianwala on Faisalabad Road.

Reports said he was crossing the road when the car (RZ-7535) hit him, killing him on the spot.

Bhekhi police are investigating.
