Five killed in clash

QUETTA, Oct 27: Five people were killed and five others were injured when two groups clashed after Eid prayers in the Usta Mohammad tehsil of Jaffarabad. The two groups exchanged fire for more than one hour. Deputy superintendent of police Jamil Asghar said the two men involved in firing had been arrested.

The condition of two of the injured is said to be serious. Four of the dead were identified as Gul Hasan, Abdul Fateh, Mohammad Nawaz and Ghulam Mustafa.

Police have registered a case against the two groups and arrested two people with weapons used in the clash.

The two groups of the Magsi tribe have been at odds over an incident of honour killing.
