NH&MP official murdered

TAXILA, Oct 27: The body of an official of National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP) was found lying at an abandoned place near Jhang-Bahtar Road in the jurisdiction of Wah Cantonment police station here on Friday.

Police sources told Dawn that the official, identified as Inspector Sher Bahadur, was deputed at Burhan and was on night patrolling on Thursday.

On Friday morning, some pedestrians saw his bullet-riddled body and reported the matter to the police station concerned. The body of Sher Bahadur was seized and shifted to his native town.—Correspondent
