Two injured in blast

GUJAR KHAN, Oct 24: Two persons were injured in an explosion at a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station near Habib Chowk on Bewal-Gujar Khan road Monday night.

According to sources, the incident occurred when storage cylinders exploded with a big bang, causing injuries to two of the workers and damage to the CNG station building. The CNG station administration suspended the operations, however, the local police were not informed about the blast.

GAMBLERS HELD: The Gujar Khan booked 21 gamblers, including a policeman, in a midnight raid on a gambling den in the city.—Correspondent
