SAHIWAL, Oct 24: Two minor nomad girls burnt alive while their mother sustained injuries when their cottage caught fire in Akbar village here on Monday night.
Rafiq and his wife had gone to work at the adjoining farm. Safia, 2, lit a matchstick which caused the fire. Safia and her sister Sakeena, 5, were burnt alive while their mother Rajan Bibi suffered burns in an attempt to save them. She was admitted to the Gogera hospital.

BANNERS REMOVED: District PML-N vice-president Malak Arshad alleged that the administration had removed the banners he put on display to greet the people on Eidul Fitr.
Mr Arshad criticised the administration and the government for negative tactics.

The PML-N leader did not pay the fee for exhibiting the banners to the contractor, hence their removal was ordered.
