Bomb blast in Quetta

QUETTA, Oct 24: A blast was reported from the city’s Wahdat Colony area on Tuesday night.

According to police, the home-made explosive device had been planted in the backyard of a house in the Government Employees’ Colony. No casualty was reported. Another blast was reported from Nushki town on Tuesday evening in which a house was slightly damaged.

A young boy was killed in crossfire between two groups near the Jail Road on Tuesday evening. The boy was returning home after buying shoes for Eid.

Terrorists damaged a power pylon after detonating an explosive device in the Dasht area in Mastung district while armed men fired rockets at a Frontier Corps check-post in Mand, a small town bordering Iran in Turbat district.—Correspondent
