Two killed over water dispute

TOBA TEK SINGH, Oct 23: Two persons were murdered allegedly by their rivals over irrigation water dispute in Chak 186-GB on Monday evening. Umer Draz and Nawaz were irrigating their farmland when the accused party opened indiscriminate fire killing both of them on the spot. One Akhtar also sustained injuries and was taken to the Rajana rural hospital from where he was shifted to the DHQ Hospital in critical condition.

DIES ON ROAD: A farmer was crushed to death by a speeding bus on Kamalia-Chichawatni Road on Monday evening.

Muratab Ali was crossing the road when a Faisalabad-bound bus hit and killed him.
