LAHORE, Oct 22: Punjab Health Minister Dr Tahir Ali Javed says the government has made arrangements for free-of-cost diagnosis and treatment of dengue fever patients at all public sector hospitals in the province.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, the minister said medical superintendents of all hospitals had been directed to provide complete diagnostic and treatment facilities to dengue patients.
They had also been directed to ensure availability of medicines necessary for treatment of the disease.
He said the director health services had been appointed as the focal person for prevention and control of dengue fever in the province. —Reporter
