KARACHI, Oct 22: Students of the government girls’ secondary schools in Orangi Town have complained against delay in receiving the scholarships and urged the officials concerned to ensure provision of the same through their schools.

It was reported that out of 454, some 250 students of the Govt Girls Secondary School, Qatar Mor, had yet to receive the scholarship. The students of Govt Girls Secondary School, Aligarh Colony, have also the same grievances.

In the past, scholarships used to be provided through schools, but this time the duties had been assigned to the post offices, which caused a delay in the process. Teachers also seconded the proposal that the scholarships should be provided through the schools under a tight monitoring system.
