KCCA official passes away

KARACHI, Oct 21: Qasim Usmani, a former senior member of the Executive Council of the Karachi City Cricket Association, died on Friday after a protracted illness. He was 60.

He leaves behind two sons and a daughter to mourn his death.

He was laid to rest after Jumatulwida prayers at Khamosh Colony graveyard.

Soyem for the departed soul will be held on Sunday after Zuhr prayer for ladies at his residence house No 2, Talib Colony, Liaqatabad No 1 and for gents at Mohammadi Masjid behind Liaqatabad Super Market.—Agencies
