Later, her sister-in-law Donia, Shahzad and Muhammad Husain beat up Shamim and sprinkled kerosene oil on her. The neighbours shifted the woman to hospital where she succumbed to her burn injuries on Saturday.

Harappa police have arrested M Husain, Shahzad Ahmed, Donia, Shahzad’s brother Asif and registered a case under Section 302 of the PPC.
