RAWALPINDI, Oct 19: The wife of an armyman and her eight- month-old son, who had been missing since last month, have been confirmed kidnapped by some unidentified persons, police said on Wednesday.

Fazal Amin, the husband of the abducted woman, lodged a complaint with R.A. Bazaar police that his wife Mehnaz Bibi left her house along with her eight-month-old son Aamad to get medicine from a nearby clinic but she did not return home.

He said a search was conducted but he failed to trace the two.

The complainant said a few days ago he received a call from a stranger who informed him that his wife and son were in his captivity. However, nobody contacted him after that. He then lodged a kidnapping case with the R.A. Bazaar police who started search for the missing woman and her son.
