PESHAWAR, Feb 14: A US delegation, led by commanding general of Coalition Forces Land Component Command, Lt-Gen Mikolashek, was on Thursday informed about the deployment of troops along the border with Afghanistan to stop the infiltration of Al Qaeda suspects, by Frontier Corps Inspector-General Maj-Gen Tajul Haq.

Lt-Gen Mikolashek, leading a five-member delegation, and the FC chief discussed matters relating to defence cooperation and mutual interests at the FC (NWFP) headquarters.

The delegation also drove through the Khyber Pass and visited Michni checkpoint.
