LAHORE, Oct 18: Former prime ministers Benazir Bhutto and Mian Nawaz Sharif are scheduled to meet in London on Thursday to discuss measures for the restoration of democracy.

“There is no set agenda for the talks. But the two leaders can discuss anything. Political situation in the country and steps needed to restore the 1973 Constitution as it existed before Oct 12, 1999, coup”, said People’s Party Parliamentarians Chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim on Wednesday.

The meeting will be held at the residence of Mr Sharif. The two leaders will later hold a press briefing at the PML-N secretariat.

Initial talks between the PPP and the PML-N leaders were held on Tuesday.
