KARACHI, Oct 18: Five ships carrying DAP fertiliser, chemicals and general cargos are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was light where two ships, Aifanourios to unload coal, and APL Dalian, to unload and load containers, were berthed.

Four vessels, Wan Hai-301, Kvarven, Sambo Heron and Dream Beauty, departed on Wednesday, while Iran Sattari, APL Daloian, Thor Hawk, Hyundai Advance and Zhen Hua-18 are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 69,670 tons comprising 28,254 tons of export cargo and 41,416 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Agios Nectarios-1, with 22,650 tons of DAP fertiliser, Chemstar Hero, with chemicals, Conti Esperance, with containers, Bolan and Fifi Queen, with general cargo.
