Anti-polio drive in November

ISLAMABAD, Oct 15: A larg-scale campaign for polio eradication would be launched in November aiming to protect the future generations from the infectious disease, National Manager, Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI), Ministry of Health, Dr Rehan Hafeez said on Sunday.

Talking to PTV, he said localised immunisation campaigns would be continued in far-flung areas till eradication of the disease, specially among children.

A countrywide campaign would be launched in the electronic and print media to create awareness about the deadly diseases.—APP
