HYDERABAD, Oct 15: The University of Sindh on Sunday conducted a pre-entry test for admission to its master’s degree programme for the 2007 academic year at the Allama I. I. Kazi Campus in Jamshoro.

A total of 2,137 candidates had submitted forms and 2,115 (555 girls and 1,560 boys) appeared in the test.

The university had set up 36 examination centres equipped with public address system and used machine readable answer sheet to make the process of checking and preparing result easy and prompt.

The vice-chancellor accompanied by members of syndicate, Dr A Q Mughal, Dr Lutfullah Mangi, Dean of Faculties Dr Anwar Ali Shah, Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh, Dr M Y Khuhawar and Saleh Rajar visited examination centres and made a brief address to the candidates before the start of the test.

The result would be announced and posted on the university’s official website www.usindh.edu.pk.
