Four injured on road

ISLAMABAD, Oct 12: Four persons, including a woman, were injured in a head-on collision between a car and a wagon here on Thursday, police said.

According to details, a passenger wagon (RPT-8608) crashed into a car (JMB-2142) at Bundar located in the jurisdiction of Sihala police station resulting in injuries to four persons. The injured were shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims).

Hassan and Ansa Bashir, who were in the car, are said to be in critical condition.

Nine outlaws held: The Islamabad police on Thursday claimed to have arrested nine outlaws and also recovered looted items, cash, liquor and illegal weapons from their possession.

These criminals were identified as Naeem, Karam Dad, Sher Muhammad, Umar Farooq, Aamir, Anayat, Izat Khan, Ayaz and Khuram Shehzad.—Staff Reporter
