Abbas Zaidi resigns

LAHORE, Oct 9: Director Cricket Board Operations (PCB) Abbas Zaidi, a close associate of Shaharyar Khan, also tendered his resignation.

“Mr Abbas Zaidi has tendered his resignation and the ad hoc committee has accepted it and hails the services rendered by him during his tenure," PCB chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf said at a press conference on Monday.

Zaidi, who was Shaharyar’s main man, had also been handling media affairs told the media, that he took the decision because Shaharyar also quit the post.

“I came with him and it is better to go with him,” he said.
