Southend in semis

KARACHI, Oct 7: Hosts Southend CC qualified for the semi-finals of the Southend Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament on Friday defeating Inbox CC by 69 runs.

Imtiaz Siddiqui smashed 57 while Asim blasted 50 as the winners scored 171 runs for loss of five wickets.

In reply, Inbox managed to score 112 runs in 17.4 overs with Raheel Malik grabbing four wickets for 17 runs.
