MIRPURKHAS, Oct 5: A group of people demonstrated and later staged a sit–in outside the press club in the Mirwah Gorchani town on Thursday to protest unannounced load-shedding for three hours against officials of Hesco’s, Satellite Town sub-division.

They also staged a sit-in Hesco’s complaint office.

They raised slogans against Hesco officials and demanded of the authorities to immediately stop unannounced load-shedding.

Addressing the protesters, Dr Abdul Ghani Gorchani and others said that Hesco’s Mirpurkhas authorities were violating directives of the federal minister for water and power and resorting to three hours load-shedding almost daily from Mirwah Gorchani feeder.
