PESHAWAR, Oct 4: The NWFP government has decided to observe one-minute silence at 8.50am on October 8 in memory of thousands of people who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake that rocked northern areas of the country last year.
The provincial government has also decided to observe “Youm-i- Istiqamat” on the day in memory of the martyrs, an official press release said here on Wednesday.
It said there would be sounding of siren for one minute at 8:49am in all towns of the province.
