KHAIRPUR, Oct 4: Shah Nawaz Shaikh, 20, was axed to death near Rahoja village in Pir-jo-Goth on Wednesday.

Reports reaching here said that some men attacked Mr Shaikh with axes and clubs and left him seriously injured. He died on his way to Sukkur hospital.

Munawar Ali, a brother of late Shaikh, charged in an FIR at Pir-jo-Goth police that Naseer Ahmed, Siraj, Irfan, Nisar and Ghazan Shaikh were involved in killing his brother.

Reports said that late Shaikh and the accused had had an exchange of hot words a few days ago.
