PESHAWAR, Oct 3: NWFP’s Senior Minister and provincial Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami Sirajul Haq on Tuesday said the struggle for the rights of the people of the province would continue till the fulfilment of the objective.

He was addressing a public rally at Musa Abad Town of Tehsil Munda during his visit to district Dir Lower.

About 40 political activists announced on the occasion that they were quitting their parties and joining J.I along with their family members and supporters.

Mr Haq said the religio-political alliance of the MMA was selflessly serving the nation and enforcing Islamic laws.

He made it clear that it would not allow corruption and loot of past regimes to come back at any cost.

He said concrete steps for introducing reforms in social sectors including health, education, water supply, communication and ensuring welfare of the masses was the hallmark of the MMA government in the NWFP.

Speakers on the occasion assured their support to the MMA government for the implementation of its policies.—APP
