HYDERABAD, Oct 3: Sindh PPP president Qaim Ali Shah has rejected rumours that the PPP has entered into a deal with the government.

He said that a disinformation campaign had been launched by the government to create differences among opposition parties.

Talking to reporters at an Iftar party here on Tuesday, he said that the rumours clearly indicated that the days of the rulers were numbered.

He said that the rulers would be ousted through people’s struggle and democracy would be restored in the country.

Mr Shah said that it was not the first time that rumours were being spread and added that whenever the establishment loses its confidence, it starts disinformation campaign against the PPP.

He said that Gen Musharraf was the only general who had acknowledged that Z.A. Bhutto had made Pakistan an atomic power.

The Sindh PPP president said that except for the Quaid-i-Azam, Z.A. Bhutto was the only leader who had enjoyed people’s support.

He said that Bhutto had secured release of 90,000 prisoners of war but undemocratic forces responsible for breaking Pakistan had transferred the blame on Bhutto.
