3 nazims removed in a month

GUJRAT, Sept 30: Three nazims of different union councils have been removed through no-trust moves in the district during the last one month.

The fresh successful no-confidence move was put forth by councillor Ali Mansoor against Jorra Jalalpur union council nazim Malik Razzaq. Out of total 12 members, eight cast their votes in favour of the move.

Earlier, Syed Moazzam Ali Shah (Moeenuddinpur UC) and Haji Rafi (Adowal UC) had been removed from their offices through no- confidence motions.

RELEASED: Additional sessions judge Chaudhry Mumtaz Hussain has released 35 inmates involved in petty offences.

The judge also visited the district jail and heard the complaints of inmates.
