103 govt employees arrested

QUETTA, Feb 13: Police arrested 103 government employees for violating section 144 here on Wednesday.

The employees were participating in a protest meeting, held here to condemn the Balochistan government for not accepting their demand to provide them with a 40 per cent special allowance.

Speaking to the protesters before his arrest, All Pakistan Clerks Association President Yousaf Kakar, criticized the government for not accepting their demands.

He announced that the employees would continue to protest till the acceptance of their demands.

He said a big protest rally would be held in the city on Friday.
