SCCI polls

SIALKOT, Sept 28: Sheikh Arshad Waheed Sandal was elected unopposed president of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Thursday.

Dr Sarfraz Bashir and Chaudhry Raza Muneer were also elected unopposed senior vice-president and vice-president, respectively. Earlier, the ruling Ittehad Founders’ group had clinched all 11 seats of SCCI’s executive committee by defeating Democratic Founders’ group, which could not get even a single slot.

Earlier, Sheikh Arshad Sandal has been serving as chairman of Pakistan Gloves Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PGMEA). — Correspondent
