PESHAWAR, Feb 13: Peshawar Electricity Supply Company has announced that power supply to all consumers who are in default of payment would be disconnected.

A Pessco press release issued here on Tuesday said all those who attempted to create troubles or staged protests against the utility’s recovery drive would be dealt with iron hand and that such elements would be acted against in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Citing an example of a protest staged at Pabbi, on the Grand Trunk road on way to Islamabad from Peshawar, a couple of days ago, the Pesco press release said it was an attempt on the part of the vested interest.

The spokesman for Pesco said that a private sector school, situated on the GT road at Pabbi, misled its students by making them to take out a protest procession against the disconnection of electricity supply to the school.
