PESHAWAR, Sept 27: The Charsadda chapter of the Private Schools Association has donated Rs50,000 for earthquake survivors.

A delegation of the association delivered the cheque to NWFP Minister for Education Maulana Fazle Ali Haqqani here on Wednesday.

NWFP Minister for Information Asif Iqbal Daudzai was present.

The education minister appreciated the humanitarian spirit of the association and expressed the hope that other organisations would follow it.

The delegation also discussed with the education minister problems faced by private schools.

The minister assured the delegation of support in solving their genuine problems.—PPI
