KARACHI, Sept 27: Four ships carrying palm oil and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Iran Hesabi, APL Jeddah, to unload and load containers, Swat, to offload crude oil, Al-Marwah, to unload chemicals, MRC Coral, to load ethanol, and Botany Trade Wind, to offload tallow, were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships, which departed included Kota Permai, Lalazar, Johar, Maersk Barry and NCC Ruyad, while APL Jeddah, Pacific Sun-2, Iran Hasabi, MRC Coral, Botany Trade Wind, Shalamar, and Al-Marwah are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 78,024 tons comprising 6,786 tons of export cargo and 71,238 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Pacific Ace, with 14,000 tons of palm oil, Kota Mesra, Corin Thaikos, and Calvin P. Titus, with containers.
