KASUR, Sept 23: Four people, two women and two children, were killed while six others sustained injuries in a head on collision between a wagon and a tractor trolley on Chunnian-Lahore road near Manzoor Shaheed police check post on Friday night.
Police said the wagon was on its way to Lahore from Chunnian when it met the accident. Ayesha and her son Ali Muhammad, 10, and Zahida along with her six-month-old infant died on the spot. The injured were rushed to the THQ hospital where Hanif and Khurshid were stated to be in critical condition.
SUICIDE: A woman allegedly committed suicide after a scuffle with her husband in Ohjla village on Saturday.
According to Umar, the brother of victim Sughra, his sister had developed a row with her husband Shah Muhammad a few days ago. She came to her parents’ house and shot herself to death early Saturday morning.
Sarai Mughal police are investigating.
