Published September 24, 2006

ISLAMABAD, Sept 23: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousaf, while lauding the services of Federal Minister for Inter- Provincial Coordination Salim Saifullah Khan, said that decisions taken during the first meeting of Inter-Provincial Coordination Committee (IPCC) would benefit Balochistan.

Commenting on the IPCC decisions, he said job quota as per 1998 census would increase Balochistan share by 5.5 per cent.

Jam Yousaf said that present government accorded high priority to Balochistan. It is only Balochistan province on which monthly meeting is held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to review the implementation status of various projects and plans, he added.—Our Reporter
