Wohaib Club trounce KESC

LAHORE, Sept 21: Wohaib Club trounced KESC 3-1 in the Premier Football League at the University of Punjab Old Campus ground on Thursday.

Zulfiqar Ali opened the scoring for the winners in the 19th minute after he was assisted by Faud Nisar.

KESC failed in equalising despite efforts by Moosa and Ghafoor who missed chances in the 21st and 23rd minute, while skipper Aurangzeb and midfielder Javed also squandered opportunities.

KESC finally restored parity through Ghafoor in the 58th minute.

Wohaib Club maintained their domination and doubled the lead when Adeem Shahzad converted a penalty kick in the 62nd minute. Faisal Amir finished off for the winners with third in the 81st minute.
