Adnan shines for Zone-VI

KARACHI, Sept 20: Slow left-armer Adnan Kaleem took seven for 72 as Zone-VI trounced Zone-I by 182 runs in the PCB Inter-district Seniors Cricket Championship at the KCCA Stadium on Tuesday.

Responding to Zone-VI’s 394 for seven in 90 overs, Zone-I were dismissed for 212.

For the winners, Shahid Ayub slammed 120 with 16 fours and a six and Hasan Raza hit eight fours and three sixes in his 111.

In the other match at TMC Ground, Zone-II defeated Zone-V by 18 runs. Off-spinner Shahmir Khattak took six for 62 in his team's triumph.
