DADU, Sept 20: Activists of the SPSF observed a token hunger strike here on Wednesday to protest against what they called bogus voting in the by-election of PS-75 in favour of government-backed candidate Dr Sajeela Leghari on Sept 16.

SPSF leaders Mir Mumtaz, Pervez Ahmed, Muneer Ahmed, Saeed Solangi, Rafique Ahmed and others told newsmen that the government machinery was used and fake votes were cast in favour of PML candidate.

They appealed to the Chief Election Commissioner to cancel the results of PS-75 by-election and hold fresh election.

SUICIDE: Rozina, 25, wife of Aachar Lund, committed suicide by taking pesticides, following a domestic dispute in the Chakrani Lund Village, Dadu taluka, on Wednesday.

BODY FOUND: Sehwan police found a body of an unidentified woman with marks of torture from Arshad rest house in Sehwan town on Wednesday.
