KARACHI: New deptt at KU

KARACHI, Sept 20: A department of clinical pharmacology would be established at Karachi University. This was announced at the inaugural ceremony of a two-day national workshop on “University-Industry Interaction: Chemical and Pharmaceuticals for National Development” on Wednesday.

Sindh Local Government Adviser Wasim Akhtar, who was the chief guest at the inaugural session, lauded the services of the International Centre for Chemical Sciences in the realms of higher education and research.

Dr Rozina Tufail and Dr Muhammad Iqbal Choudhry also spoke on the occasion.—APP
