LAHORE, Sept 18: The Anti-Corruption Establishment claimed on Monday to have caught red-handed a police officer and a patwari taking bribe and arrested another patwari on charges of bribery.
According to details, the ACE Lahore region assistant director arrested Factory Area SHO Javaid Butt for taking Rs10,000 from Irfan Ahmed.
In another raid, the Kasur judicial magistrate and the ACE circle officer r arrested a patwari of irrigation department for taking bribe.
Nazir, a patwari of revenue department, Halqa Tehsil, Cantonment, Lahore, was arrested outside the Lahore High Court after allegations of corruption were proved against him. —Reporter
