KARACHI: Heroin seized

KARACHI, Sept 18: The customs preventive on Monday seized 5 kg heroin from the possession of a lady passenger destined for Bangladesh. The seizure took place at the airport. A spokesman for the Customs said Nasrin, 26, wife of Swapan, was arrested when an examination of her luggage led to recovery of 5 kg heroin. She has been arrested and prosecution case has been registered against her. —Staff Reporter
