MONTREAL, Sept 13: A suspected gunman was killed and 20 people were injured in a school shooting here on Wednesday, the Montreal police director said. “For now, I will only say there is one suspect who is dead following the arrival of the first police on the scene,” said the city police director, Yvan Delorme.

Delorme did not say if the suspect was shot dead or committed suicide.

He said 20 victims were in hospital following the shooting, and that some arrived in ambulances and others by their own means. —AFP
