Landmine blast injures three soldiers

QUETTA, Sept 12: Three security personnel were seriously injured when a landmine went off in Loti area of Dera Bugti while a bomb blast rocked the Kohlu township on Tuesday.

According to official sources, a vehicle carrying security personnel hit a landmine planted in Loti gas filed area.

The landmine went off, resulting in injuries to three soldiers. The vehicle was also damaged.

“It was a powerful landmine planted by tribal militants in the area,” a security official said, adding that the injured were immediately shifted to the Sui Hospital.

Meanwhile, a powerful explosion occurred in Kohlu township in the afternoon.
