PCB chief heading delegation to China

KARACHI, Sept 12: The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, Shaharyar M. Khan, will head an Asian Cricket Council (ACC) delegation to China later this month.

The delegation will also include ACC’s chief executive Ashraful Haq, a representative each from Sri Lanka and India who will visit Beijing and Shanghai from Sept 18 to 21.

During their three-day stay in most populous country of the world, they will hold meetings with the Chinese cricket officials and inspect cricketing facilities and setup there.

ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed will visit China to help the local authorities in promoting and developing cricket in their country.—APP
