KARACHI, Sept 12: The City Council will meet on Thursday to discuss various financial issues to be raised by treasury benches. Opposition members plan to move a resolution on the killing of Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Khan, condemning the government for not handing the body of the slain leader to his family.

Rafiq Ahmed, leader of the Al-khidmat group, said: “we want to discuss many issues, such as the inefficient of the CDGK to handle the post-monsoon situation which includes losses occurred to the property due to inadequate measures of the city government.

However, he said the murder of the Baloch leader would be top of the agenda.
