KARACHI, Sept 10: At least 65 people were deprived of their cars, motorcycles or cellular phones in different parts of the city on Sunday.

Police sources said 22 vehicles, including six cars and 16 motorcycles, were snatched or stolen and 43 mobile phones were taken away by bandits on Sunday.

Sources said three cars were snatched at gunpoint and the same figure of cars was reportedly stolen.

Similarly, four motorcycles were snatched and 12 were stolen.

Police said 16 mobile phones were snatched at gunpoint and 24 were stolen while three cellphones were reported missing on Sunday.

Two killed: Two youngsters died and two received injuries in a road accident on Hawkesbay Road on Sunday.

A duty officer of the Mauripur police station said Khalid, Abdul Sattar, Hasan and Fayyaz were knocked down by a speeding land-cruiser bearing Dubai registration number when they were heading towards the beach.

Khalid and Abdul Sattar died on the spot while Hasan and Fayyaz were rushed to Civil Hospital where they were admitted for treatment.

KILLED: Police on Sunday morning recovered a body from a graveyard in Orangi Town.

Mominabad police said the body bore a single bullet in the head; he was identified as Aijaz, 23.

Police said the victim was the owner of a brick kiln unit in Orangi.
