ISLAMABAD, Sept 6: Ministry for religious affairs has issued Haj forms to members of parliament, ministers, governors, chief ministers, speakers, chairman senate as per their quota prescribed for next Hajj season.

They have been asked to return the forms to the ministry by September, 15 after making entry of the names of intending pilgrims against their quota.

Sources told Online that ministry has sought five names of intending pilgrims each from member of parliament, ten each from minister and minister of state and 15 each from chairman senate, speaker, governors and chief ministers.

The names to be provided by them will not be included in balloting.

This way the ministry will send 3770 persons to Saudi Arabia for Hajj purpose out of VIPs quota.

The balloting for the Hajj applications will be held in the first week of October. About 150000 applications have been received so far under government Hajj scheme. 75000 applications will be selected out of balloting.—Online
