KARACHI, Sept 6: Bandits took away 32 vehicles and 29 cell phones in different parts of the city on Wednesday.

Police said a single car was snatched at gunpoint and 12 others were stolen in different parts of the city.

Similarly, nine motorcycles were snatched at gunpoint and 10 were stolen.

Police said eight cellphones were snatched at gunpoint and 18 were reported stolen while three were reported missing.

Meanwhile, the Anti-Car Lifting Cell, Capital City Police Karachi, on Wednesday conducted raids and recovered 23 vehicles, including 14 cars and nine motorcycles in different part of the city.

The registration numbers of the recovered cars are: K-9354 (Suzuki Mehran), PS Shahrah-e-Faisal, Z-2514 (Suzuki Khyber), PS Aram Bagh, T-6618 (Suzuki Mehran), PS Jamshed Quarters, W-0164 (Charrad), PS Preedy, CK-1108 (Suzuki High-roof), PS Shahrah-e-Faisal, AFK-741 (Cuore), PS Khokhrapar, AAC-971 (Suzuki Khyber), PS Aziz Bhatti, ALP-665 (Suzuki Mehran), PS Gubarg, AA-5161 (Corolla), PS Temoria, EF-0057 (Suzukai Bolan), PS Aziz Bhatti, J-5059, (Honda Civic), PS Nazimabad, V-0768 (Suzuki Mehran) PS New Town, CK-4936 (Suzuki Hi-roof), PS Joharabad and T-7034, PS (Mubina Town).

The registration numbers of the recovered motorcycles are: KBC-1558 PS, New Town, KAC-2273, PS Shahrah-e-Faisal, KBU-2633, PS Eidgah, LOD-6163, PS Eidgah, KAN-2415, PS Gulistan-e-Johar, D-10907 (Rickshaw), PS Gulshan-e-Iqbal, KAQ-4978, PS Preedy, KBN-1185, PS Haidri Market and KCX-5671, PS Sir Syed Town.
