PESHAWAR: JUI leader joins PML

PESHAWAR, Sept 6: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, Lakki Marwat, leader Malik Abdul Rasheed of Jogiwanda has joined the Pakistan Muslim League with his friends and family.

Speaking at a public meeting in Jogiwanda on Wednesday, he said he had decided to join the PML because of the progressive policies of the government led by Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.

He said his former party had done nothing worth mentioning for the welfare and development of the area.

District Nazim Humayun Saifullah Khan said poverty and other problems of the area would be solved soon.

LINE LOSSES: Mir Hawas Khan has been posted as Superintending Engineer, Peshawar Electricity Supply Company, Khyber circle. According to a notification issued here on Wednesday, Pesco Chief Executive Brig Sakhi Marjan has directed him to utilise his energy to help reduce line losses and improve recovery of dues.-—APP
