Khurram clinches top position

KARACHI, Sept 2: Victory against Mohammad Yousuf in last month's AKD Snooker Cup final at the Karachi Club led Khurram Agha to number one spot in national rankings announced for the month of September by the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association.

Khurram clinched three national ranking tournaments during the current year to replace Imran Shehzad from the top slot.

Imran Shehzad claimed second position followed by former world champion Mohammad Yousuf.

Meanwhile, an official of the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association said two-month-long training camp for December’s Asian Games at Doha, Qatar will commence from Sept 22. The venue of the camp would be decided later.—PPI
