KARACHI, Sept 1: Three ships carrying ethanol, crude oil and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Ever Guide, Calvin P Titus, PAC Antlia to unload and load containers, Le Li to Iron Butterfly to offload and load general cargo and Stolt Aventis to unload chemicals were berthed.

Five ships, Y.M. Mondego, Anangel Eagle, Passat, Marclabria and Windsor Star departed Friday, while Calvin P Titus, Iron Butterfly, Pac Antlia, Patton-1, Ever Guard, Zara-3 and Brasa, to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was on the higher side where a total tonnage of 91,152 tons comprising 32,493 tons of export cargo including 2,373 tons of cement and 58,659 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due to arrive on Saturday: Central Park, to load 9,600 tons of ethanol, Swat, to offload 55,000 tons of crude oil, Wan Hai-301, Cape Santiago, Maersk Arkansas, with containers.
