Lunch for Gillani disallowed

Published August 28, 2006

RAWALPINDI, Aug 27: Adiala Jail Superintendent Tariq Babar disallowed the lunch brought by visitors for former National Assembly speaker Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani here on Saturday.

In a press release the jail superintendent’s behaviour towards Mr Gillani has been defined as quite pugnacious and inhuman. He has been accused of always ridiculing the PPP leader and his visitors.

It is pertinent to mention here that two jail doctors refused to work under the jail superintendent due to his vituperative and notorious conduct and they declared Mr Babar an insane person, the press release said.—Online
